I’m looking into several work-at-home customer service jobs, all dealing with inbound calling. They all list as a requirement a ‘quiet, distraction-free work environment.’ Are there any work-at-home mamas (or dads) here who manage this with kids in the house?
I never even tried because of my daughter. I even had to leave my transcription job by the time my daughter was about three because I couldn’t hear what my clients were dictating. I think the only way it would work is if you are scheduled to work when someone is there to watch the kids.
