In my searches I’ve found that most teaching and tutoring sites require a degree or being in your fourth and final year of your degree. I’m not surprised at the teaching but I am at the tutoring. Tutoring is a bit selective. You wouldn’t tutor a class you weren’t well versed in, so obviously you have experience with the subject. You don’t necessarily need a degree to teach grade 12 math. So why ask for a degree?

Strange that the tutoring requires a degree. I guess they are trying to weed out people who think they know a lot on a certain subject but don’t have the education to back it up. I know high school students who tutor other students so it really doesn’t make much sense to require a degree.
