I cannot crochet myself but my mother-in-law can and she is teaching our youngest right now. Does anyone remember those toys that you could get for kids about 15 years ago that would teach crochet to little ones? Do they still make those? My mother-in-law sells a few things that she makes online but most of the time she does it just for gifts instead of making money.

My mom taught me to crochet when I was a kid. It’s fun! I still see some kits for kids to learn crochet in the stores from time to time. I keep telling my mom to open an Etsy shop, but doesn’t want to. She prefers to do it for fun.

Right now they are a little team of busy bee workers making hats for the upcoming winter season. We have seen everything from turtles to ducks and even penguins. I love the idea of the kids getting new hobbies to keep them busy (and not thinking about video games).
