Work At Home Review: Zemandi

For those who wish to hone their writing chops and would also like to work from home, Zemandi provides a viable opportunity to do so. As someone who has spent the last couple of years working for Zemandi, I have been able to enjoy access to a regular income, while continuing to pursue other goals and dreams.

After all, isn’t that what working from home is all about, providing yourself with maximum flexibility? One of the best aspects of working for Zemandi is the ability to pick and choose the times when you want to work, without having to adhere to anyone else’s schedule.

Their support staff is always on hand, ready and willing to handle any issues that may occur. Working for a website that allows you to choose assignments from their system can lead to certain technological difficulties, but in my experience, the Zemandi support staff has always been proactive about handling them in a manner that is timely and efficient.

They are also very upfront about their payment structure, as there is no scam involved. Writers are typically paid $2.25 per 450 words, $4.50 per 900 and so on and so forth. There are some articles that may pay $3 per 300 words and many of the articles can be written fairly quickly if you are a proficient writer with knowledge about a wide variety of different topics.

Those who wish to work for Zemandi will have to submit a few samples of their written work first. This process is handled in an expeditious manner and the prospective worker is able to find out if they will be accepted onto the team quickly. If the work is up to par, the person is also paid for their contributions.

There are a few downsides, but none of them are exclusive to Zemandi and most of them are merely the nature of the beast when it comes to pursuing a career in freelance writing from home. On certain days, there may be a scarcity of assignments, although these do tend to be very few and far between.

On the bright side, Zemandi will periodically offer bonuses to their employees during periods when the system is full of assignments. They also offer bonus payments to their workers on a weekly basis, bonuses that are not very difficult to achieve. Those that complete 11,250 words worth of assignments are entitled to a 5 percent bonus each week, while those who complete 22,500 are able to receive a 10 percent bonus payment.

These weekly payments are also issued in a timely fashion, as workers who complete at least $20 worth of assignments are paid through PayPal each and every Monday. Should Zemandi be forced to issue payments later because of holidays or systemic issues, the workforce is informed far ahead of time and delays are typically kept to an absolute minimum (on the rare occasion that they take place).

In short, Zemandi delivers on its promise. Workers are also able to monitor their growing balance throughout and email the support staff when they have any questions. These issues are always handled in a timely manner, allowing the freelancer to continue working with full peace of mind.

Working from home comes with a certain stigma and many people find themselves falling victim to false reports about companies that are scams. However, Zemandi is the furthest thing from a scam. Few companies provide the same level of transparency and whenever I’ve had serious questions about any aspect of my employment, I have been able to contact their support staff and receive an answer within a very short period of time, no matter what time of day it may be.

I have yet to experience any sort of prolonged difficulty when it comes to accessing work, receiving payments or receiving timely answers to any of my questions. Zemandi delivers on their promises and workers are able to plan their days around a steady supply of work, while having the ability to take a step away from the system and focus on other tasks if need be.

Stepping away for a few days is easy, as long as you are able to monitor your revision requests. Revision requests take place when the client who has asked for an article requires the writer to make changes. On one hand, these can be somewhat cumbersome from time to time. However, they are typically easy to handle and do not take very much time to complete. If there is any confusion, Zemandi’s support staff steps in to handle the situation.

All in all, I have had a great experience working for Zemandi. While there are a few minor downsides, these are all to be expected when working as a freelance writer from home. Those who have a realistic expectation about their experience will benefit greatly from working with Zemandi.

Editor Note: This company does pay very little for the work done and has had some bad reviews online because of the low pay, however this is a legitimate work at home company from what I have seen and they do pay on time. This would be a good starter company for experience before you move onto bigger and better things. I have not personally worked for this company but I do see some good that can come for working for them, mainly garnering work at home experience.

This seems like a great option for people who are looking to dip their toe into freelancing. Like others said, it’s great that they pay on time, that alone sets it apart from content mills I’ve written for. I also like that they offer bonuses, it seems like a great incentive.

I have never heard of Zemandi until now. It sounds a lot like a couple of other low paying content mills I have written for in the past. However, even though the pay is low, it is great to know they pay as promised and it is done through Paypal. How long does it normally take to get an article approved once it has been submitted?

I have heard a lot about this company, but what ticked me off was that a minimum amount is required in order to be paid. But the good thing is that they are legit and they do pay.

I totally agree, Lilly. You would think that if they pay a low amount per article there would be no minimum payout amount. Do you happen to know if they approve articles quickly? One of my writing gigs pays a fair amount for each article, but sometimes it can take days and days to get an article approved for payment.

This sounds like a great opportunity for someone who is just starting out as a writer. I’m always looking for jobs like this that make writing fun. What are some topics that are available to write about? Do some of them take a lot of research to do?

I’m always looking for opportunities to write and work from home. Typically for these types of companies there are usually quite a few writers, some good and some bad, vying for jobs and your chances of getting an assignment is rare. Is that the case with this company?
